Laura graduated from Trinity College in Connecticut in 1997 with a bachelor of arts in Art History and has always been intrigued by color, design and the decorative arts. After relocating to New York and accepting a job with the venerable New York interior designer, David Easton, Laura spent several years as a decorator working with many high profile clients, frequently on custom furniture. During this time, Laura began to notice a gap in the furniture market–a buyers choices were limited to hard to find antiques or assembly line basics. This sparked a need to fill that void and offer something other than the previously available options.
