Laura graduated from Trinity College in Connecticut in 1997 with a bachelor of arts in Art History and has always been intrigued by color, design and the decorative arts. After relocating to New York and accepting a job with the venerable New York interior designer, David Easton, Laura spent several years as a decorator working with many high profile clients, frequently on custom furniture. During this time, Laura began to notice a gap in the furniture market–a buyer’s choices were limited to hard to find antiques or assembly line basics. This sparked a need to fill that void and offer something other than the previously available options.

Based on the premise of updating and customizing classic pieces‚ Lorely® merges timeless, enduring style with up-to-date, customized features and textures. Fusing an unfussy attitude with a love for luxurious detail, Laura’s designs emerge with the perfect balance of function, rich texture, relaxed luxury and a hint of whimsy.
